Iron (III) sulfate or ferric sulfate, is the chemical compound with the formula Fe2(SO4)3. Usually yellow, it is a rhombic crystalline salt and soluble in water at room temperature. It is used in dyeing as a mordant, and as a coagulant for industrial wastes.

In the laboratory iron(III) chloride is commonly employed as a Lewis acid for catalyzing reactions such as chlorination of aromatic compounds and Friedel-Crafts reaction of aromatics.
